Invisible Blinds

Multiple Configurations

Skylight blinds can be concealed within or under the load-bearing structure holding the skylight. Depending on the glazing design and blind, Blindspace boxes can be installed on one, two, three or all four sides of the skylight.

The most common configuration is to have deeper boxes for blind hardware on two sides and shallower boxes along the sides for blind side channels and wires.

As a general rule, blinds should be installed as close to the window as possible to minimize the amount of hot air between the blind and the window. The most common installation is therefore with the blind gap towards the window.

Some prefer to install Blindspace boxes as close to the room as possible, with the blind gap towards the room, to create a fake ceiling when the blind is deployed
