Flexible wood is a unique incision process to make wood and engineered wood flexible. The incision patterns give the material almost textile properties and its qualities and areas of application are considerably expanded.
Flexible wood opens up new horizons in interior design. The different incision patterns, the ability to bend and features like transparency and sound absorption allow countless aplication possibilities. The high sound-absorbing effect of the perforated wood-based material is particularly remarkable. The int. patented dukta process works with commercially available wood materials such as plywood, MDF and three-layer boards.

Acoustic Systems
Acoustic panels are ideal for applications intended to have an acoustic effect such as absorption and diffusion. Our flexible semi-finished products enable individual design and help you achieve the room acoustic to fit your needs. Standard pre-assembled wall and ceiling panels in different variants are now available.
Partition Wall
Partition walls are used in large, open-plan offices, foyers, libraries, restaurant and festival spaces. The individual elements can be shaped and added to without limitations. This enables optimal space planning in keeping with the room. Rollers can be applied to the partitions to add mobility.
Furniture & Lights
The pliability and durability of dukta boards open up new horizons for wood in the field of furniture construction. The partial transparency of the dukta boards lends itself to being used in conjunction with lighting, leaving an atmospheric cascade of shadows.
Objets d'Art
Through linear cuts made with the CNC cutting machine or freeform incisions made using a laser, the dukta process makes the material malleable and able to be heavily transformed. A wide range of sculptures and art installations can be created from raw pieces of wood or the thinnest plywood. This normally rigid wooden material will truly come into its own through its amazing flexibility.
